About Mark Keizer:
Currently the Executive Producer of New Media at E! Entertainment Television in charge of overseeing the creation of original online content for E! and sister network Style, Mark's career encompasses daytime talk, late night comedy, reality programs, game shows, variety shows, live news, hidden camera and even film criticism. Previously, Mark was Co-Executive Producer of two seasons of Comedy Central’s The Man Show and Supervising Producer of the syndicated talkfest The Roseanne Show. Other talk show producing credits includeThe Late, Late Show with Tom Snyder.
Mark’s work on The Man Show was the culmination of an overall deal with Stone-Stanley Entertainment, in which he oversaw development of the SpikeTV reality hit, Joe Schmo. Also for Stone-Stanley Entertainment, he served as Co-Executive Producer of the Animal Planet hidden camera comedy special Animal Pranksters.
In 2002, after serving as Supervising Producer on the FX primetime roundtable The Test with Jillian Barberie, Keizer became a Producer on NBC’s Dog Eat Dog, the primetime, stunt/game show hosted by Brooke Burns. Keizer’s experience with the peacock network dates back to 1997, when he wrapped up four years as Senior Producer on the late night talk show Later with Greg Kinnear. Kinnear brought Mark to NBC from E! Entertainment Television, where he was in charge of writing, producing, directing and editing the comedy bits on the cabler’s breakout hit Talk Soup. While at E!, Keizer also served as Associate Producer of The Howard Stern Interview, a half-hour, one-on-one interview series hosted by the New York-based shock jock.
Mark co-authored the book Ultimate DVD: The Essential Guide to Building Your DVD Collection, and currently serves as senior film critic for Boxoffice Magazine. You can find his podcast 'DVD DigiGods' on iTunes and IGN.com.
